Privacy Policy
ZyvoCast processes the minimum account, device, household and billing data needed to activate TVs, manage synced homes and support purchases across the portal and companion apps.
Controller and contact
The controller for the data processed through ZyvoCast web, activation and companion flows is ZyvoCast, operating the services available under zyvocast.com and api.zyvocast.com.
Privacy, account and data-rights requests can currently be sent to support@zyvocast.com. If a dedicated legal contact or postal address is published later, this page will be updated accordingly.
What data we collect
We may process account identifiers such as email address, household memberships, linked device IDs, pairing codes, playlist labels and URLs, profile names, billing references, promo redemptions and support context shared by you.
We also process operational and security data required to run the service, such as session state, CSRF protection tokens, request metadata, activation events, sync diagnostics and device information needed to complete the requested workflow.
Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data to provide the service you request: signing in with magic links, activating TVs, linking households, synchronizing playlists and profiles, managing subscriptions, handling refunds and responding to support incidents. These operations are generally necessary to perform the contract or to take steps requested by you before entering into it.
We may also process limited data for security, fraud prevention, abuse detection, infrastructure protection, auditability and defense of legal claims. Those operations are based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and reliable, or on compliance with legal obligations when applicable.
Cookies, sessions and similar technologies
ZyvoCast currently uses technical and user-requested cookies to keep sessions open, protect forms and remember the language chosen by the user. These cookies are described in the separate Cookies Policy.
We do not rely on marketing, behavioral advertising or optional analytics cookies in the current public portal flow. If that changes, the cookie layer and this policy will be updated before deploying those technologies.
Recipients and processors
Payment and subscription workflows may involve external processors such as Stripe, Apple App Store or Google Play, each acting under its own terms and privacy documentation for the parts they control.
Infrastructure and hosting providers that help operate the portal, API, email delivery or deployment pipeline may process data on our behalf under the corresponding data-processing arrangements. We do not sell account or household data.
International transfers and retention
Some processors or infrastructure vendors may operate outside your country or the European Economic Area. When that happens, the service should rely on the safeguards offered by the relevant provider contracts and applicable data-transfer mechanisms.
We retain account, household and billing data while the service remains active and afterwards for as long as reasonably necessary to handle security, billing, tax, support or legal obligations. Session and security cookies follow their own lifetimes, and obsolete operational logs should be minimized over time.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of your personal data, and you may also withdraw any consent that may be used for future optional processing.
You can exercise these rights by writing to support@zyvocast.com from the account concerned and describing the request clearly. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority, including the AEPD if you are in Spain.
